Is it still possible to sell via dispenser with new gift system?

STEAM GIFTING CHANGES (4 May 2017)

Source: http://steamcommunity.com/games/593110/announcements/detail/1301948399254001159

Today we’re announcing changes to gifts on Steam. The gifting process has had a bunch of friction in it for a while, and we want to make it easier for you to share the games you love with friends. Steam Gifting will now be a system of direct exchange from gift buyer to gift receiver, and we will be retiring the Gift to E-mail and Gift to Inventory options. Here's a quick breakdown of benefits from the new system:

Scheduling Gifts Is Even More Straightforward
Go ahead and buy a gift months in advance and have it delivered to a friend on time, every time.

Declined Gifts Resolve The Way They Should
In the old system, a declined gift would sneak back into the giver's inventory and remain on their bill. Now, if a recipient already has the title, or just doesn't want it, they can click decline and the purchase is refunded directly to the gift giver.

Safe Cross-Country Gifting
No more worrying if a Gift to E-mail or Gift to Inventory is going to work for a friend, gifts sent through the new system will always work on the receiver's account. When there is a large difference in pricing between countries, gifting won't be available and you'll know before purchase.

These changes are now available. Please let us know if you see any issues or have any feedback.

Note: Pre-existing gifts will be unaffected by this change.

It's impossible to use dispenser after those changes, there is no way to save gifts bought after May 4 to inventory anymore.

You can send new gifts only to people in your friends list and they can only accept or decline the gift (no save to inventory). Even if they decline the gift, sender gets refunded by steam (so it won't save to inventory again).

Sadly this is the end of gift reselling on steam, not just dispenser.

Our "historical" mission has finished. Though, there are still many tradable gifts around and trading can still go on a while. After that this will be mainly used for BTC <> Key trading until new stuff comes in.

Thanks for all your hard work Joto, it was really amazing to see how you managed to quickly find workaround and react to all restrictions Valve had gradually put on gift trading in these past few years (untradable gifts, captcha for trade offers, email confirmations, mobile authenticator and so on), but unless they revert this last change, this is the end of the road, yeah.

Thanks again for everything, it was a fun ride ;)

Joto and Cara indeed have done an excellent work with dispenser throughout these years, the cost of personal bot was very well deserved.

I am pretty sure there are still many traders with tradable gifts around so gift trading at dispenser will certainly continue for quite some time.

It was obvious though, Valve wanted to kill mass gift reselling since they started taking measures and adding limits a couple years ago. I think everyone here pretty much knew it would come at this point one day, it was just a matter of time..

Personally i don't think that they are going to revert this change, they have probably been planning it for quite some time now.

After making this announcement on 4th may Gaben was like "may the 4th be with you" :D
Anyway it was really a good time but now this is the end. Good bye all the traders.

many thanks for all joto&cara
